M-Net seeks to appoint a CORPORATE FINANCE MANAGER. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The applicant must be a dynamic and figure orientated person who will take up responsibility for the full range of financial, statutory and associated activities with particular emphasis on:

• Managing all operational and system related controls and procedures in the corporate Finance Department (daily)
• Managing the operational and system related procedures at month end (monthly)
• Finalising and submitting the company's financial management reports (monthly)
• Monitoring all inter-companies transactions(monthly)
• Financial control over the payroll functions (monthly)
• Managing the controls and procedures relating to company cellular phones
• Managing the company share trust account (monthly)
• Managing the M-Net budget process(monthly)
• Performing the year-end procedure and audit function (annual)
• Monitoring the calculation and payment of all taxes owed by the company (annual)
• Performing an internal audit function at foreign affiliates of the company (annual)
• Managing the staff of Corporate Finance Department
• Controlling the petty cash float of the company
• Managing all communications between the Corporate Finance Department and other parties
• Managing and maintaining the financial policies of the company
• Authorising and managing all basic services contracts and related payments to suppliers
• Facilitate and manage BEE procurement and enterprise development
• Performing all duties and functions of the corporate Finance Manager with reference to all M-net values
• Managing the controls and procedures of the strategic sourcing Procurement systems
• Responsible for divisional management financial reporting, Marketing, Facilities, IS, Human Resources, Regulatory, Finance and management
• Financial policies relating to cellphones, travel and entertainment
• Company Revenues- Subscriptions and Advertising
• Internal Party Related issues.
• Financial Reporting (System and Spreadsheets) and Data Manipulation

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS
• Tertiary Financial qualification, CA (SA) and relevant FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT experience
• SA GAAP
• IFRS
• Sarbanes - Oxley
• Experience in financial and human resource management
• Strong computer literacy and experience in implementation and maintenance of computerised financial systems
• Knowledge of corporate, tax and labour law
